Kristina and Jake went to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for their elopement at the Hard Rock hotel. A handful of family and friends joined them for their celebration and it was such a blast. We captured their ceremony on the beach, with pristine white sand, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Kristina went to New York City to Kleinfeld’s to pick out her dress! She looked stunning in her corset style, lace wedding dress by Pnina Tornai. Also, she rocked, dainty, barefoot beach sandals that had tiny crystals on them. They were the perfect touch for her beach wedding style!
The morning after their wedding we all woke up for a little sunrise session! Also, they had a little outfit change so they could jump into the ocean. Kristina also wore a flower crown to complete this boho beachy look. It was a breathtaking morning with the most epic sunrise. The clouds lit up all kinds of pastel colors when the sun hit a thunderstorm off in the distance. The reflection in the soft blue Caribbean ocean was beautiful It really was the perfect depiction of destination weddings you see on Pinterest. haha! It’s every brides, elopement dreams, come true! At the end they jumped into the water and even had a little kissing session in the sand!
We loved capturing Kristina and Jake’s elopement at the Hard Rock Hotel and we love capturing elopements in general! All of our couples that have eloped say there was so much less stress involved in their day. They were able to sit back and focus on the the things that really matter on their wedding day. Each other and living in the moment!
