The waterfalls at South Mountain State Park a little bit of a hike for an engagement session but when we mention this Ashley and M were excited for an adventure and up to it! It was a humid, summer day so the one mile hike through the lush green forest to High Shoals Falls was a bit hot. But once we arrived at the waterfall and they were able to cool off the session went flawlessly! Ashley looked beautiful in her flowy red dress that popped off of the dark green trees and dark waterfall. The scenery is always breathtaking and the views are endless.

Everyone is at least a little nervous for their engagement photographs. Ashley and M were but by the time we had them laughing and playing games with each other they barely knew we were there.

These two loved exploring South Mountain State Park for their engagement just as much as we did! Climbing on the moss covered rocks and kissing beneath a waterfall. I mean who wouldn’t hike two miles for that romantic setting like that! Not only do you have something stunning as your backdrop but you can jump in the water pools when it’s hot and get some playful shots in the water.
