Alyssa and Brian had their wedding at Hawkesdene Private Estate in the mountains of Andrews, North Carolina. Their ceremony took place down this beautiful path on the property covered by a gorgeous canopy of trees. Brian couldn’t help but tear up the whole time and it was such a sweet “I do”. Their decor was very soft, earthy whites and greens. A mountain, boho vibe. At Hawkesdene, for sunset, they will drive you up to the top of the mountain to an overlook. The sunset is simply breathtaking from up there and as you can see makes for the best photos! Alyssa had two wedding dresses, the first one she designed herself and the second one she changed into for their epic first dance!

This is one beautiful and unique mountain wedding you won’t want to miss!

We loved this ceremony location! It was perfection. The canopy of trees, and the wooden chairs with lanterns were simplistic yet stunning. Hawkesdene is so versatile for a wedding and that’s what makes it so great! Would you ever have your ceremony here? We totally would!

Alyssa and Brian’s laughs are so infectious. We caught ourselves laughing and smiling as they did throughout the day. One of our favorite moments was their first dance. It’s one of our most favorite first dances to date. You could tell they were having so much fun and they smiled from ear to ear! They put time and effort into learning a choreographed dance complete with a Dirty Dancing lift at the end! They killed it.  And it also helped that Alyssa was a cheerleader for the Charlotte Hornets so she was an awesome dancer to begin with! Haha!

Alyssa wore this awesome jean jacket for their exit in the sparklers. It had “Foushee”, her new last name on the back,  that we absolutely adored!

We loved capturing Alyssa and Brian’s beautiful day and we cannot wait to be back at Hawkesdene to capture more love stories!
