Jessica and Bo

We have always prided ourselves on producing images that invoke emotion.  Emotion is a key element of a successful photograph.

Jessica and Bo have been together for over a year now and most of their relationship has been a long distance one.  Bo is enlisted in the United States Army and is due to be deployed to the Middle East in the coming months.

It’s always an honor when we photograph our servicemen, because we know that our photographs will be a pathway to the memories of their loved ones.

The premise of the shoot was designed by Jessica and Andrea and they each wanted to show respect to Bo’s service as well as their long distance relationship.

Jessica is writing a love letter to Bo and as she goes to place it in the mailbox, Bo comes walking up the driveway from being away at war…

Enjoy their love story.

We teased Bo during the shoot as to when he was going to pop “the question” to Jessica.  He laughed off the teasing.

When they got back home……he asked her to marry him!

Congratulations to the both of you.

The Beach

This past week was the last bit of relaxation for us as the next 3 months are going to be exceptionally busy.

Spending a short vacation at the beach was just what we needed to recharge us for the upcoming events.

Although we were having some down time, we also had several photo shoots scheduled while we were in the area. Including my cousin, Kaitlyn Parrish, who will be graduating from the University of Wilmington in December.

I also had the pleasure of learning the ins-and-outs of the new camera.

Family vacations have been an integral part of my life growing up and as I have matured I have treasured the precious moments of our time together.

Here are a few snapshots I was able to capture as the week flew by.
